I confess I jumped into a Facebook marketing webinar because Amy Porterfield, ProBlogger and Social Media Examiner were promoting it and learned so much that  I listed to the 20 mins of sales speak introducing this their new FBinfluence education product.  The ever cute and uplifting Amy Porterfield made me see that for less than $100 bucks I could learn what I needed to know quickly to make a difference for my own facebook page and that of my clients. Plus, having a private forum to ask questions made it a sure thing for me. I’ve not been interested in Facebook for my personal life, but can’t deny that all small businesses need to be on Facebook where their customers live!
I’m buying so I feel good about giving you my affiliate link to this educational product it will save you time and money: http://brightnow.fbinfl.hop.clickbank.net

Grad Cards. As a photographer, I’m really fussy about my cards.  Go to PearTree – better prices than TinyPrints  and very nice designs.  (that’s my affiliate link to give me a kickback of 10%, so if you pass along this, pass along my link.  Thanks. ) I’d say, PearTree does not as sophisticated of an interface, but, really fantastic prices.
I purchased a trifold card for only 1.08 each.  Wow. Bye bye $3/per cards at Tiny Prints.

Very inspiring biz story. Can’t wait to see what’s ahead for photojojo.
superamit:

I’m REALLY excited about this!
For much of our work, where we do it isn’t really all that important. So for a while now I’ve wanted to try working in different places. Of course, it’s more fun with friends.
So for the next few weeks, Photojojo’s relocating to India!
Five of us fly out from San Francisco today, and 3-4 more join us shortly from the east coast.
The holidays are an intensely busy time for us, so what better way to wind down than a workcation! We’ll be shacking up in a 100-year-old restored Portuguese home in Siolim village in Goa for a couple weeks, then spending a week in Delhi.
Our goal: continue business as usual (ie. finding the most awesome photo stuff in the universe!!) We’ll also be going over the last year, brainstorming and planning out 2011, and enjoying some of the local scenery and food. If it goes well, we hope to make a trip somewhere in the world an annual tradition.
See you soon!
p.s. Hat tip to our pals at The Hype Machine for the inspiration, thanks to Katherine and Tony (and other members of the Google Chrome team) who’ll be making use of our office while we’re away!

A little behind on the new Wordpress blog.  Selecting a theme now.  Any favorites?  Working on a friend’s blog and am proposing Viva Themes.  Any one loving Viva?

TOOLBOX RESOURCE*: Domain Registrations by Go Daddy
Sure you can get a free domain with some web hosting contracts—but this is dangerous.  Stick to the biggest name and keep your most valuable asset - your name.com safe.  We’re not over the top with the trashy looking interface of godaddy, but we need secure and effective.  And heck, Danica Patrick is really something.  Fearless.  We like some female influence in our tool box.
* we are affiliates and receive a small bonus if you use our affiliate link.  We use that bonus money to re-invest in NEW TOOLS to tell you about.
